Who am I?
Hi, my name’s Stef and I’m your host here at Cougar Fitness Blog. I’m the creator and writer behind the concept of Cougar Fitness.
It is my mission to showcase the beautiful women throughout the world who work hard at keeping their bodies healthy and fit. As a fitness role model, it is paramount that I portray and promote the concept that women can get in and stay in phenomenal shape throughout their lives. Age really is, just a number.
Why am I an Expert?
I’m ISSA Certified in Fitness Nutrition and working toward my Personal Trainer Certification as well. I have over twenty years of hands on experience with weight lifting, diet, nutrition, kinesiology, cardio and stretching, and living the healthy lifestyle. I’m uniquely qualified to blog all things fitness since I have been there and done that and tried and/or researched most diet and workout programs, as well as motivation, hypnosis, and NLP protocols. I am a Transformation Champion and share my tricks of the trade with you throughout this blog. I can help you sift through all the information out there and retain what is pertinent and valuable to you.
Who is my Partner?
My husband, Mark, and I started with a website, Cougar Fitness Club, and decided to branch out into this blog so I could communicate better with my friends and fans.
Mark is in Law Enforcement and keeping his stellar physique is a necessity. You never know when your physical competence and level of fitness can mean the difference between life and death. He has learned to balance heavy lifting and cardio workouts with clean eating on the go.
What’s our Lifestyle?
We have lived the fitness lifestyle practically our whole lives. Fitness and health permeate each and every day. Sometimes we work out together, sometimes we just go to the gym together, and sometimes we work out alone. But, we’re always on the same page when it comes to fitness. We’re partners in this endeavor and it’s great having someone to talk shop with over “clean eats”. Surrounding yourself with people who have the same philosophies in life is paramount to you attaining your goals.
