Workout October 13, 2011

Good Morning Cougars!

This morning I did something I haven’t done in a very long time.. truly fasted cardio. Now, don’t get me wrong, it was only a walk around the neighborhood. However, I’m talking straight out of bed, BEFORE coffee, totally fasted, first thing 20 minutes of fast walking. No, I’m really not counting that as my “cardio” for the day, but I do think it’s important to just get moving a little more….I’m not talking about “formal” cardio, I just mean burning extra calories throughout the day instead of sitting in front of the computer or on the couch. Really, it may not seem like much today, but imagine day after day after day, just burning off an extra 100 calories here and there…it will add up.

Today’s workout will be Abs and Shoulders

I’ll do Hanging Leg Raises
Rope Pulldown
Swiss Ball “Caterpillers”

DB Press
Side Lateral Raises (3 types of sets: heavy, slow, and triple drop)
Rear Pec Deck
